Yes, it's cold and I'm not a cold weather person!
But soccer makes it worth it :] We're 5-2 right now and I'm totally stoked! (7 goals and 8 assists for me so far!) Though I am getting tired of being asked where I am going to play next year and getting the "oh," response when I say I am going to fire school. I guess I should just get use to it because it comes from every person. Last night was the Ribault game. [which is always interesting. . . ] But it was quite fun to move the ball from one end of the field to the other, and we got some practice for passing. Eagle's View Academy is tonight!
One more week until my First Responder final.........

Winter Wonderland
It's cold outside. I don't like cold weather, at all! But the christmas decorations are nice :) And mom is working on Christmas shopping, though they are in the Bahamas right now. I bet the weather is great down there. . . But no! They left me here. Ugh.
So it a few weeks I will be a licensed First Responder. This semester has really been great, but now I am looking back on a few things that I really have missed and didn't realize I would. I finally have a couple days off from college to take a break! I loved playing in the stands during the football games, but nothing beats preforming on the field. I remember how stressed out I was for my first game my freshman year. Once the show started, there was no turning back and it all turned into a huge blur. ( But I did hit form 7! :D ) Every now and then I miss the weekend parties at someone's house with the "group." Yes, most people lose touch after high school, but I didn't expect it to be so in this year. My last one! I rarely see my best friend, but I know that we can still depend on each other when it's needed. She's really a great person who I have learned a lot from. I love to see her new drive for Christ, and it helps push me harder, even when she thinks I'm not looking ;) . . . . . It's funny how even thought we don't talk/hang out much, when we do, it picks up right where it left off without missing a beat. Ah, well off of memory lane for now. . .
Our soccer team's record is 3-1! That's something to be proud of and I am. . . It's been quite a challenge to keep it up for the past few years. I just hope the rest of the season goes well too!
And now back to the books. . . Mass Triage. . . Respirations. . . Shock. . . AVPU. . . RPM. . . Yea I'm done now :)

busybusybusybusy
I honestly cannot tell when the last time I had just free time to sit and do nothing! It's rediculous. But now that I think of it, if I had that time I wouldn't know what to do with it. . .
On a very bright note =]
Our first soccer game is 2 1/2 weeks away, and I am super freakin' excited about it. I am trying to make the best of my last year playing, and I think that it will pay off in the end. Our team is pretty great this year, especially the freshmen. I am looking foward to our skip day(probably some day in November), and maybe a hangout time before then. . . The new uniforms look great, shirts and such will be ordered soon, and out of three months we've only had one really bad practice. It's great!
Teenagers need to wake freakin' up. I'm tired of this "I'm voting for him because my parents are" or "He's a good speaker". Yes, parental voting and public speaking are important, they aren't near as important as understanding their values and what they plan to do in office. If you are going to vote on someone, take the time to read about them and what they have done in the past. . .
oh, and I'm single. I don't have time for boys. Even if they are very nice and spend money. See?!? No time. . .

great weekend
This past weekend was not only my last away football game (though it was VERY eventful), Caila and I finally got to go off and have fun. Just the two of us. First time in 5 months. Of course we got in trouble at the bowling alley, but that's usual for us. Then it was off to Fernandina to walk around Centre Street and to Target (which is my favorite store!) to buy senseless things I usually never use. . .
Adios.
Adios.

passing =]
Last week was the BLS CPR test, which I passed! I just don't know what my final score is yet. I was pretty stoked. Now it's on to patient assessment. Fifty pages of how to do this and how not to do that. Strict memorization. . . I'm loving it all because it's new to me.
Friday night was almost a waste of time. Our football team got beat by Yulee, sad I know. And Mr. Booker is still asking me to kick for varsity. Even sadder. It's bad when the coaches and principal ask the girls' soccer captain to kick for the varsity football team! I did get to see Evan. He and Chase came out there during halftime and the third quarter and got some peanuts. [which were freakin' huge!] It was great because I hadn't really gotten to see him much that week.
After the game and getting back to the school Evan, Chase, Drew, and Ben were out in the parking lot. So I had to talk and listen to their marvelous singing. Then it was home and off to bed!

past weekend
So Friday night was the football game versus Union County. Erica and I were having a grand time as usual. It's hard for us not to have a good time! Helped Caila with make-up, and it really was the most I had seen her in a while, so it was nice to talk! I miss getting to see her and hang out every day, but it makes getting together just more important. We're growing up! The half-time show is really improving and Craig was there to see it all. I got to see it from a bird's view in the box; it was a new way to view a show!
Then in the fourth quarter it out of no where just began to pour!!! It was the wettest I have ever been at a football game. We all had a good time while soaked, but then the rain got freakin' cold. It wasn't a typical Florida rain, at all. When Mr. Reynolds said to go inside, Erica and I booked it for the bandroom. Evan came to see me and it was nice except when I realized how pathetic we all looked when we got into the bandroom. Mascara everywhere. My eye was randomly red. But he stayed there for like an hour. . . It was great =]
Saturday night was hangout night at Erica's house. Erica && Chase; Me && Evan. Tacos and some brownie trifle thing. . . The food was great. [I just supervised, because I'm not the best cook!] We watched Failure to Launch, and then football. I think the guys were much more excited about the football games on than the movie Erica and I picked out. I have discovered that I am much better at Bowling on the Wii than in real life. After three games I only broke 100 once, and Evan did pretty much every game. So I liked the Wii much better! The guys left at midnight and Erica and I made the mistake of talking until much later. Sunday morning pretty much everyone was tired and didn't listen too well in church.=]

My classes
So I've gotten like 50 billion questions over the past few weeks about how my classes are going...
So here you go...
1- Sheldon (Spanish 2) This is my favorite class. If it wasn't for Ms. Sheldon making me laugh and loving Spanish, I would hate high school this year! She's a great christian and it's so nice to actually have a teacher who doesn't cuss in class, and cares about their students. I just don't like that some people don't know when to stop!
2- Ash (Economics) I like Ash, but hate regular classes. It just seems like he has to repeat everything five times. . . By the third time the bright ones are done with the work already that really didn't need to be explained in the first place!
3- McFadden (Professional Development) This is possibly the easiest class that I have ever had. Ever! I'm typing this now while he is lecturing if that clues you in some. He talks. . . We play on the computer. . . Does it get any easier??
4- Taylor (Biology) She's late every week. But the labs are pretty easy so just read the text and take some tests online. Luckily, the guys make me laugh, and Sierra and I do the work!
5- Barr (First Responder) I look forward to this class every week because it is in my field of study, and it's a challenge. This week is the orientation to BLS/CPR, and then in a couple weeks we are working on Patient Assessment. This is probably my hardest class, but mainly just reading and word by word memorization. I want an A in this class and it'll take a lot of studying to get it! Next semester I will have EMT. I will take a semester exam to be a licensed First Responder to move onto EMT, and will take a year exam in May for the license for EMT.
6- Ulmer (Student Life Skills) I like her, the professor, but she keeps telling me that my personality doesn't fit being a firefighter. . . Funny thing is my personality results matched my father in every aspect! And I think that he did a pretty good job in the fire service. . . Apparently I should be sitting behind a desk for the rest of my life! Not going to happen! Ever!
So I love my schedule and classes, but after going to college for the morning I don't want to go back to high school. I really do like having a two hour break between college and high school to do homework, study, and eat at Nana's house. Well this class in pointless and he doesn't really care what we do. . . And we're learning how to be better "communicators", bahaha.
